Happy Birthday Brayden

This past Sunday was Brayden's 2nd Birthday. I can't believe that my baby is already two! To celebrate we had a little birthday party with family.

Caleb and I made a truck birthday cake for Brayden, since he LOVES trucks. I think that it turned out pretty good considering this was our first 3D birthday cake.

Brayden didn't know what to think of everyone singing to him. But he soon decided that he liked it.

Brayden got spoiled with all of his presents. Thanks to everyone for all the really nice things.

Lounge Time

With a new baby in our house we are all feeling the adjustment, and am a little more tired then usual. Because of this we have been lounging and sleeping a lot.

Brayden has been anti-nap lately (even though he really does need them). But I found a new trick. If I put in a movie and lay down on the couch then Brayden will lay down next to me and fall asleep. Even though I swore I would never use a movie to put my kids to sleep; times have changed and I am kind of exhausted and this works great. With this way we both get a nap!

Many people don't know this but Caleb loves to cuddle. After a long day of fishing Caleb came home and cuddled with Parker.

A Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Great

A few weeks ago my Grandma and Grandpa Armstrong came all the way up from Bountiful just to meet baby Parker. It was so fun to see them. We went to lunch and then came back to my house and just visited. It was so nice of them to take a day and drive all that way just to see Parker. We love them so much and appreciate all that they do for us!
I am especially grateful that both my boys will get to know most all of their Great Grandparents. I was very fortunate to be able to know and remember most of mine, and loved it. I got to hear many family stories and learn a lot from them. And I am glad that my boys will get that opportunity as well.
